What to Expect at Malwa Utsav 2025 Malwa Utsav 2025 is scheduled to be held from 8 may 2025 to 15 may 2025 at Lal Bagh Palace, Gruound Indore,  The event spans over multiple days, featuring spectacular performances and cultural exhibitions. A Cultural Confluence of Craft and Creativity The festival is attracting thousands of visitors from Madhya Pradesh and nearby states, all eager to explore the richness of Indian heritage. One of the biggest highlights of the Utsav is the handicraft fair, which begins daily at 4:00 PM. This year, over 350 talented artisans from across India are showcasing their creations. Tribal Art and Craft Exhibition One of the highlights of Malwa Utsav 2025 is the Adichitra Art Gallery, a special zone dedicated to tribal art. This gallery will showcase paintings and artifacts created by tribal artists from Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. A Tribute to Ahilyabai Holkar 2024 festival features a grand stage designed to replicate the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, a nod to the city’s historical connection with the revered Queen Ahilyabai Holkar, who played a significant role in the temple’s restoration. The stage, measuring 80 feet in length and 60 feet in width, will serve as a magnificent backdrop for the various performances. This tribute coincides with the 30th anniversary of Ahilyabai’s coronation, adding a layer of historical significance to the festivities. Evening Performances Starting each evening at 7:30 PM, the main stage will come alive with performances by folk artists from Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat.
